Celebrating World Environment Day
It’s World Environment Day, and this year the focus is #BeatPlasticPollution. Whilst plastic pollution is one of the major concerns of our time, it’s also ‘one of the most fixable of today’s environmental challenges.
We've put this blog together to share the recycled and certified textiles we use in our clothes. Our garments are designed to make you feel good on the inside and out. And with this in mind, here’s a breakdown of the fabrics and certifications found in our summer collections.
Recycled polyester
Recycled polyester is made by collecting and sorting waste materials like PET bottles, textiles, and fishing nets. These materials are cleaned, shredded, and melted down into pellets. The pellets are then heated and extruded to form polyester fibres, which are spun into yarns and used to produce new fabrics.
Tencel™ lyocell
TENCEL™ Lyocell is made from wood pulp using a closed-loop process in which the solvent is recovered and reused.
Organic cotton
Organic cotton is grown without synthetic pesticides or fertilisers
