The Kirtipur Sweater takes its name from the historic town of Kirtipur, nestled in the Kathmandu Valley in the shadow of the Himalayas. Made entirely in Nepal, this special sweater celebrates the country’s rich heritage and connection to the mountains. Made from 100% lambswool, an incredibly warm fiber with naturally antimicrobial and moisture wicking capabilities and lined with 100% recycled polyester super-soft eco fleece Rolpa fabric for next to skin comfort. Set in sleeves provide ease of movement with the full zip design allowing for simple layering and additional ventilation. The standout geometric stitch pattern inspired by Nepal ensures this is a statement piece. Each sweater is carefully packed with its own muslin garment bag.

"My Kirtipur from years ago was, and still is, a beast of a sweater and my favorite garment of all time. It was super warm well below freezing with perfect weight, an awesome lined hood and neck, an inside pocket and super warm fuzzy hand pockets. This new one is missing all of these key features which made the old sweater so great. It is still nice overall, but the outdoor performance, warmth and comfort don't come close to the original. Bring back the real deal Kirtipur and I'll be the first in line to buy, but this one isn't doing it for me."

"Very comfortable sweater/jacket with soft lining. Cuts the wind and stays warm in weather under 40 degrees. Quality knit with normal fit. I wear large in Sherpa garments and this fits perfectly."
"Can't tell you how much I love this sweater, I have 2 I rotate through every winter for the last 5 years and it basically never comes off. Ordered a new one and am hugely disappointed, gone is the inside pocket, the insulation feels about half as dense, and the overall feel is cheaper and itchier. Really sad Sherpa has gone down this road. The sizing is also different and fits tighter then in previous years."
