This 2-layer bonded Namgyal Jacket, with a blended wool exterior, will last a lifetime. It’s machine washable, extremely breathable and is lined with soft, warm fleece with subtle features like a built-in media port and chord guide and nepal inspired details.

Love this jacket. Always wanted a stylish wool jacket with a nice cut. I feel like I can wear this anywhere. I purchased in black, which makes it a more versatile I feel.
Five years ago I was in a local Lake Placid, NY ski shop and happened to see the Sherpa Namgyal Jacket - I bought it without a second thought. It is my favorite coat. I can wear it with a wool layer throughout al but the coldest Adirondack Winters. It looks great on a date or heading to skimat Whiteface. When it gets below zero, I use it as a base layer under my shell. I’ve skied, skated, snowshoed and tubed in this coat. I just bought a second one - I wanted one that I could wear to work as a sweater over my shirt. My old one isn’t going anywhere. It will be my everyday outer wear for even though it a little worn on the cuffs it still looks great.
I purchased my jacket at Stone Harbor Wilderness Supply, a locally owned shop in Grand Marais, Minnesota. I had never seen the Sherpa brand before. I tried the jacket on and loved it immediately. It's very well made with a textured wool/nylon exterior and very soft fleece interior...also machine washable! Not sure about the other review that says it has an "Asian" or "Hipster" fit though. I purchased a size large (which I normally wear). I'm 6'1" tall and weigh 200 pounds and somewhat muscular and it fits great with room for layering. I'd consider it a standard or slightly roomy fit for me and certainly not a slim fit. I'm really impressed too that it's made in Nepal supporting local communities there. Based on this jacket, I'll certainly purchase more products in the future!
Love this jacket.
My only problem is with the Euro/Asian/Hipster fit. I can't wear anything more than a T shirt under it. Tight in the arms, shoulders and small armholes. I am by no means jacked, I am not a body builder, I just happen to have shoulders wider than my hips.
Still love this jacket and would buy it again.
I bought that jacket in Regensburg, Bavaria and since that day i try to catch an second one. It is the best jacket everyday life i ever had. I would really like to buy another one, but I cannot find a shop where I can get it - not even a online shop. - Would you be so kind an give a useful advise?
Best wishes, Ralle
