The Do Anything Pant

I have never worn a pair of pants so often in my entire life. I have done everything from hiking, climbing, ski touring, mountain biking, and attending church service in these pants. The fit is incredibly comfortable yet I can wear them in more formal settings without any issue. The nylon stretch fabric Sherpa chose is just insane! After a year of HEAVY use they continue to be very water resistant and show almost no wear on the fabric. I even ran directly into a sharp tree branch while mountain biking, which left a nice 2 inch scrape on my leg, without a single scratch on the fabric. I also typically wear these 3-5 days in a row without any issue of smell before I wash them. I'm not kidding when I say I wear the Khumbu pants every. Single. Day. I can do anything in them. I wear them when it's hot, cold, raining, snowing, and find them comfortable in every scenario. I've ran in them at 0 F degrees and 100 F degrees, both being far more comfortable than I anticipated. My favorite part of the pants is the amount of movement I have. The stretch fabric seems to have no limit to my range of motion and there's no compromise on durability. The pockets are also well placed and sized on this version, I actually prefer them over my trail Khumbu's.

I have ONE reason for the 4 star review instead of giving them the full 5 stars. The thread that Sherpa is using nowadays is not durable! Out of my 4 pairs, the 3 pairs I purchased in 2019 all have small sections of top stitching coming undone. Luckily there's double stitching on most the seams so it hasn't been an issue. It's such a shame for how awesome these pants are otherwise. Sherpa, please use stronger thread! Even with the thread issue, I would still buy these pants over and over again for their comfort, versatility, and functionality.

Great Pants

These pants are the perfect everyday/adventure pants hands down. They don't restrict movement when climbing, hiking, etc, and the DWR finish on these pants make them great for light moisture and occasional splashes. Highly recommend.
