I love the Naulo Trail Pant! Super comfortable. I was concerned that the waist would be too big if the hips fit and that is not the case at all. They fit perfect!
I love the design and quality of these pants. If I could have a re-do I'd get a smaller size. I'm taking the time to write a review since most reviews are not helpful. I am 4'10" and 138#. I ordered the size 8 short based on the size chart, my measurements and scaled to a size 4 in another pair of pants from Sherpa. I purchased black and gray. The colors are deep & rich. This fabric is never going to fade. I've had pants from another brand with this same 4 way stretch. It's durable, travel ready and forgiving....it is also very swooshy & loud. It's a personal preference of mine to avoid the shooshy sounding pants. These are "George Castanza" pants (pardon the Seinfeld reference but it is spot on). The material is stretchy but doesn't bag out & retains shape all day. The waist band is lined with a brushed flannel type material and very comfortable with 2 stacked metal buttons & quality zipper. My problem is my belly & the waistband didn't roll. The pockets are deep and useful. The side pocket on the right with an invisible zipper is nice however the zipper can be tricky to close with one hand. The length is ample and the cut in the leg is straight. I like that it is not a tapered or skinny leg, high-waisted pant. The stitching is immaculate. These will wear well. I have worn both pairs in colder weather (below freezing). They provide wind barrier but no heat retention. If you wear them in cold weather I would encourage a base layer & the room to accommodate it.
Fabric, quality, design & value all 5 stars. Ordered 2 short, but unfortunately they are too big. I was hoping my “COVID 10” would help fit, but sizing is generous.
I loved my first pair of these pants to death, restitching them over and over and over again, until they disintegrated around me. I've put them through the ringer -- rock, snow, and abrasion of all sorts. The stretch is great and they are surprisingly durable. Bought a new pair and can't wait to take on the world with them. Haven't found a better climbing pant that fits my body shape and lifestyle. Thanks Sherpa!
